The partnership with Blink will connect 1,300 employees across Papa Johns’ Middle East operations through a single mobile-first platform, supporting workforce engagement as the franchise business expands.
Papa Johns franchise operator PJP Investments Group has partnered with Blink to introduce a mobile-first employee super app for its 1,300-strong workforce across the Middle East, bringing communications, employee recognition and workplace resources together on a single digital platform.
Announced on October 13, 2026, the partnership will provide employees across the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Saudi Arabia and Jordan with a central digital hub designed to improve communication between restaurant teams and management. The platform will also support access to learning resources, company policies, operational updates, marketing campaigns and employee recognition programmes, with content tailored to employees’ locations and roles.
Around 93% of PJP Investments Group’s employees work in restaurant operations across different markets, making consistent communication a challenge for the business. The company said its existing communication methods relied on management-led information sharing, shared systems and informal channels, which could make it difficult to reach every employee consistently.
The Blink platform is intended to provide employees with direct access to company information, regardless of their job role, location or access to corporate systems. The rollout forms part of PJP’s broader efforts to modernise the employee experience and establish a consistent organisational culture across its growing restaurant network. More than 70% of its workforce comprises Millennials and Generation Z employees, according to the company.
“Our people are at the heart of our business, and we believe that when you take care of your people, you create better experiences for your customers,” said Melitsa Mizrahi, Chief People Officer at PJP Investments Group.
She added that the company wanted more than a communications tool, describing the platform as a digital foundation that would connect employees directly with the business and accommodate future growth.
Sean Nolan, Chief Executive and Co-Founder of Blink, said the partnership reflected Papa Johns’ investment in the digital infrastructure needed to support its frontline workforce at scale.
Franchise Growth and Digital Operations
The technology rollout comes as PJP Investments Group continues to develop its international restaurant portfolio. The Dubai-based food and beverage operator is wholly owned by Levant Capital and holds licences from Papa Johns International to operate restaurants in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Iraq and India.
PJP first partnered with Papa Johns to expand the brand in the UAE in 2005. In April 2023, Papa Johns announced an expanded agreement with the operator to develop 650 restaurants in India by 2033, marking a significant step in the pizza chain’s international growth strategy. The agreement was intended to establish the brand in India, beginning in southern markets before expanding into other regions.
PJP’s broader development ambitions include building a network of nearly 1,000 Papa Johns restaurants over the longer term. The company’s regional operations and expansion plans make workforce coordination an important consideration as it manages restaurant teams across multiple countries.
Founded in 1984, Papa Johns is one of the world’s largest pizza delivery businesses, with approximately 6,000 restaurants across around 50 countries and territories, according to company information released in connection with the partnership. Its international network relies on franchise operators and development partners to expand into new markets and manage local restaurant operations.
