Starbucks Corp. will open a new corporate operations office in Nashville, Tennessee later this year, strengthening its growth strategy across the Southeastern U.S. The facility will complement the company’s Seattle headquarters and support supply chain and operational functions for North America.
The Nashville office will also offer relocation opportunities for dozens of existing employees from Seattle, while creating new roles in the region. The company says the location was chosen for its talent pool, strategic position, and economic advantages.
Chief Operating Officer Mike Grams stated: “We see Nashville as an ideal location to establish a more strategic presence in the Southeast.” State and local officials welcomed the move, citing the economic benefits and potential job creation for the region.
The announcement comes amid Starbucks’ continued expansion efforts, following store closures and corporate workforce adjustments in recent years. The company is targeting growth in central, southern, and northeastern U.S. markets, planning thousands of new store openings over the next few years.
The Nashville office is expected to play a key role in logistics and supply chain optimization, ensuring faster distribution and supporting Starbucks’ broader operational efficiency initiatives.
