Williams-Sonoma, Inc. has promoted Abby Teisch to Chief Marketing Officer, expanding the role of the longtime marketing leader as the home retail group continues to strengthen its digital-first strategy and global brand presence.
Teisch, who previously served as Executive Vice President of Marketing, will continue to report to President and CEO Laura Alber and remain part of the company’s executive leadership team.
A 20-year veteran of the retailer, Teisch will now lead enterprise-wide marketing across the company’s portfolio of brands. Her responsibilities include performance marketing, customer engagement, brand strategy and data-driven growth initiatives designed to deepen customer relationships and drive long-term expansion.
“Abby brings a powerful combination of brand vision, digital fluency and operational excellence to our team,” Alber said in a statement. She added that Teisch has played a key role in strengthening the company’s leadership in digital marketing and customer loyalty.
During her time as EVP of Marketing, Teisch helped advance the company’s marketing measurement capabilities, improved digital customer acquisition and retention, and strengthened brand storytelling across multiple channels. Her teams have combined creative brand building with strong analytics to support both brand equity and financial performance.
Williams-Sonoma, Inc. operates a portfolio of home and lifestyle brands including Williams Sonoma, Pottery Barn, West Elm, Pottery Barn Kids, Pottery Barn Teen, Rejuvenation and Mark and Graham. The brands are sold through e-commerce platforms, catalogues and retail stores.
The company has also expanded its international footprint through franchise and licensing partnerships, bringing brands such as Pottery Barn and West Elm to markets across Asia, the Middle East and Latin America.
The promotion comes as the retailer continues to invest in digital commerce, data-led marketing and global brand expansion, areas expected to remain central to its growth strategy.
