Nothing Bundt Cakes has crossed a major growth milestone with the opening of its 800th bakery, underscoring continued momentum for the specialty cake franchise across North America.
The landmark outlet opened on April 15 in East Bakersfield, California, and is operated by multi-unit franchisees Chiral and Dixit Desai, who already own and manage several locations within the state. The new bakery, located at 2660 Oswell Street, reflects the brand’s strategy of scaling with experienced operators in established markets while continuing to deepen penetration across key regions.
Founded in 1997 and headquartered in Dallas, the brand has grown from a single bakery into the largest specialty cake company in the US, with 800 locations across more than 40 states and Canada. Its franchise-led model is built on streamlined operations, a focused product range, and consistent in-store execution.

The milestone comes amid sustained demand and strong franchise development, with the company now targeting 1,000 locations by 2027.
