Nolte Küchen has unveiled the next phase of its UK franchise growth strategy with the opening of new franchised showrooms in Beaconsfield and Cambridge, reinforcing the German kitchen brand’s ambitions to expand its presence across the British market. The latest launches mark another milestone in the company’s franchise-led expansion programme, which began in 2025 and is expected to continue throughout 2026.
The new showrooms build on Nolte Küchen’s four-decade presence in the UK and follow the successful launch of the brand’s first franchise locations in Bath, Richmond and Henley-on-Thames last year. The company has also confirmed that additional franchise showrooms in Hawkhurst and Wakefield are scheduled to open by early H2 2026, taking its total franchise network to seven locations across the country.
According to the company, each showroom has been designed to showcase Nolte Küchen’s latest kitchen and furniture collections, highlighting the brand’s focus on premium design, sustainability and German engineering. The expansion comes as consumer demand for high-quality fitted kitchens continues to drive investment in the UK’s home improvement and interiors sector.
Chris Rushby, Managing Director of Nolte Küchen UK, said the company is seeing strong interest from franchise partners attracted by the combination of a premium product offering and an established retail infrastructure. “The momentum behind the Nolte franchise model in the UK is building rapidly,” said Rushby. “We are seeing a high level of confidence from partners who recognise the value of a premium German product backed by a proven UK retail infrastructure. This growth is a testament to the resilience of the Nolte brand and the entrepreneurial spirit of our partners.”
Highlighting the strategic significance of the latest openings, he added: “Every opening in H1, and those in our immediate pipeline, represents a strategic step forward in our goal to fill key territories with high-quality showrooms. For us, it is not just about the numbers; it’s about building a network designed with long-term partner growth in mind.”
The UK expansion forms part of a broader growth strategy that has evolved rapidly since the company introduced its franchise programme. Nolte Küchen first launched its UK franchise model in 2024, seeking entrepreneurial partners and experienced kitchen retailers to support nationwide growth. At the time, the company outlined ambitions to expand beyond its company-owned showroom estate and accelerate market penetration through local franchise operators.
Founded in Germany in 1958, Nolte Küchen is one of Europe’s best-known kitchen manufacturers and has developed a substantial international presence. In the UK, the business operates through a combination of company-owned showrooms, independent retail partners and franchise locations, creating what it describes as a multi-channel retail strategy designed to maximise brand visibility and customer accessibility.
A key attraction of the franchise proposition is its flexibility. Nolte says the model is designed to accommodate a range of operators, from experienced kitchen designers and retail professionals to multi-unit business owners. Franchise partners receive support across territory planning, site selection, recruitment, training, marketing and ongoing operations.
While current demand remains strongest across the Southeast of England and key commuter-belt locations, the company is actively exploring opportunities in new regional markets as it pursues sustainable long-term growth. Looking ahead, Nolte Küchen says it will continue prioritising premium showroom locations and experienced local operators as it expands its footprint across the UK kitchen retail sector.
The latest openings underscore the growing role of franchising in the UK’s premium kitchen market, where established European brands are increasingly using local ownership models to accelerate expansion while maintaining brand standards and customer experience. With seven franchise locations expected to be operational by the second half of 2026, Nolte Küchen appears well positioned to strengthen its competitive standing in one of Europe’s most mature kitchen retail markets.
