Global boutique fitness franchise Body Fit Training (BFT) has announced a new worldwide partnership with PILLAR Performance, marking the first time the fitness brand has introduced a dedicated performance and recovery partner across its international network.
The partnership, unveiled during BFT’s recent global conference in Cairns, Australia, is designed to strengthen the member experience while creating an additional revenue stream for franchisees. The collaboration reflects a growing trend in the fitness sector, where brands are increasingly expanding beyond workouts to offer integrated wellness, recovery and nutrition solutions.
Under the agreement, BFT studios will provide members with access to PILLAR Performance’s science-backed micronutrition products, including Triple Magnesium, Creatine Monohydrate, and Ultra Omega & Collagen Repair. The products are aimed at supporting recovery, sleep quality, energy levels and overall performance. All products in the range are certified through the Informed Sport programme, which independently tests supplements for banned substances.
PILLAR Performance has established itself as a leading name in the performance nutrition space, working with more than 200 professional sports teams across major competitions including the Premier League, NFL, NBA and AFL. The company was founded by former professional rugby player Damien Fitzpatrick.
According to Cam Falloon, Founder of BFT, the partnership aligns closely with BFT’s philosophy around performance and recovery. “For the first time in our history, we have secured a premium, global partner that services every single one of our regions,” said Falloon. “But this isn’t just about a logo on a wall; it’s about brand DNA. PILLAR was built on the exact same belief we hold at BFT, that recovery is the engine of performance. This partnership gives our studios a consistent, high-margin secondary revenue stream with a brand members will actually be proud to carry in their gym bags.”
Damien Fitzpatrick, Founder and CEO of PILLAR Performance, said the collaboration would help members maximize the benefits of their training sessions through a stronger focus on recovery and performance support. “Our mission is simple: to shift health from preventative to performance, permanently, and back people who show up,” he said. “Whether that’s on a world stage or in your local BFT studio, performance is performance. We’re here to help the BFT community get more out of every session.”
For franchisees, the partnership introduces a new retail category that BFT says can generate average gross margins of around 40%, providing operators with an opportunity to capture additional member spending within the studio environment. The rollout will be supported through launch incentives, educational materials, marketing assets and activation campaigns designed to help franchisees maximize sales opportunities.
“We’re focused on creating practical opportunities that help franchisees grow revenue while enhancing the member experience,” Falloon added. “The rollout is supported by launch incentives, educational resources, marketing assets and activation offers to help franchisees maximise the opportunity from day one.”
Beyond revenue generation, the partnership is expected to strengthen consistency across BFT’s global footprint by providing members with access to the same recovery and nutrition solutions regardless of location. The move also reinforces BFT’s strategy of combining fitness training with complementary products and partnerships that deliver measurable commercial value to franchise owners.
As boutique fitness operators increasingly seek diversified revenue sources beyond memberships, BFT’s partnership with PILLAR Performance highlights how wellness-focused ancillary offerings are becoming an important component of modern franchise growth strategies.
