Inspire Puts Buffalo Wild Wings GO and Jimmy John’s Under One Roof

Date:

Inspire Brands is bringing two of its quick-service concepts together for the first time, with Buffalo Wild Wings GO and Jimmy John’s set to open a co-branded restaurant in Palmetto, Florida, on August 18, 2026.

Located at 5241 69th St. E. in Palmetto, the restaurant will be owned and operated by Quality Foods Restaurant Group, which already operates three Buffalo Wild Wings restaurants in Florida. The new site will combine Buffalo Wild Wings GO’s wings and broader food offering with Jimmy John’s sandwiches under one roof.

The concept gives customers access to two separate menus while sharing the same overall restaurant footprint. Buffalo Wild Wings GO will focus on carryout and delivery, offering bone-in and boneless wings with a range of sauces and dry rubs, alongside tenders, sandwiches, wraps, burgers and shareable sides. Jimmy John’s will offer its made-to-order sandwiches featuring hand-sliced meats and bread baked fresh every four hours.

The Palmetto restaurant will have separate kitchens for each brand, while customers will share the entrance and front-of-house seating area. Jimmy John’s will also retain a drive-thru, giving the combined operation another off-premise sales channel. The location is approximately 2,100 square feet and has 12 seats, according to local reporting. Quality Foods Restaurant Group has hired approximately 40 employees for the restaurant.

The decision to launch in Palmetto is tied partly to the area’s growth and sports-driven customer base. Inspire Brands described the city and surrounding Manatee County as among the fastest-growing areas in the country, while highlighting the area’s connection to local high school football and Pittsburgh Pirates spring training at nearby LECOM Park.

Kenther Ramos, Franchisee with Quality Foods Restaurant Group, said the combination gives customers greater choice without requiring them to visit separate restaurants. “Bringing the first-ever Buffalo Wild Wings GO and Jimmy John’s together is something special, and we’re proud to do it right here in Palmetto,” Ramos said. “We’re giving this community something no one else has: two crave-worthy menus, one location and no reason to ever choose between them.”

For Inspire Brands, the experiment fits into a wider strategy of putting complementary concepts together in a single footprint. The Atlanta-based restaurant company already operates other combinations involving its brands, including Dunkin’ and Baskin-Robbins and Baskin-Robbins and Jimmy John’s. A Jimmy John’s-Dunkin’ location is also planned for San Antonio in early 2027.

The attraction of co-branding is straightforward: two concepts can potentially share real estate and portions of the front-of-house infrastructure while offering customers a considerably broader selection. For franchise operators, the model can also create an opportunity to generate more sales from a single site rather than developing two completely separate restaurants.

That potential is particularly relevant to Buffalo Wild Wings GO and Jimmy John’s because both concepts have strong off-premise businesses. Buffalo Wild Wings GO is the smaller-format, carryout- and delivery-focused extension of the Buffalo Wild Wings brand, while Jimmy John’s has built its business around fast sandwich service and delivery.

The scale of the two brands gives the experiment significance beyond a single Florida restaurant. Buffalo Wild Wings had more than 1,400 restaurants globally, while Buffalo Wild Wings GO finished 2025 with 219 locations, according to Restaurant Business. Jimmy John’s has more than 2,800 restaurants across six global markets.

Inspire Brands itself has a portfolio of more than 33,300 restaurants worldwide across Arby’s, Baskin-Robbins, Buffalo Wild Wings, Dunkin’, Jimmy John’s and SONIC, supported by approximately 650,000 company and franchise team members.

The Palmetto opening will therefore serve as more than a novelty for customers looking for wings and sandwiches in the same place. It gives Inspire Brands and its franchise partners an opportunity to evaluate whether combining established concepts can improve restaurant-level productivity, maximize real estate and create additional sales opportunities without replicating the cost structure of two standalone locations.

Quality Foods Restaurant Group has been building a multi-brand portfolio in Florida that includes Buffalo Wild Wings GO and Jimmy John’s alongside other restaurant concepts. The company’s existing Buffalo Wild Wings presence gives it direct experience with the brand before taking the co-branded format into operation.

The opening marks the first U.S. combination of Buffalo Wild Wings GO and Jimmy John’s and could provide an early test of whether Inspire Brands’ portfolio can be used not only to expand individual brands, but also to create new restaurant formats by combining complementary concepts.
