Pickleball Kingdom, the U.S.based indoor pickleball franchise, is expanding into Australia and New Zealand through a new master franchise partnership with Cameron Bloomfield. Pickleball, which originated in the United States in 1965, has since developed into a rapidly expanding global sport, creating new opportunities for franchise-led indoor club concepts.
Under the agreement, Bloomfield will lead the development of Pickleball Kingdom across Australia and New Zealand, with the brand seeking franchise partners in markets including Melbourne, Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Sydney, Gold Coast, Adelaide, Auckland and Perth.
The expansion extends Pickleball Kingdom’s international franchise footprint as the brand continues to develop markets outside the U.S., following its entry into India and expansion efforts in Europe.
Bloomfield brings more than three decades of experience across strategy, acquisitions, property development and leasing. His track record includes transforming underutilized properties into community-focused destinations, with projects involving more than 500 childcare places and over 150 homes across Melbourne. His work has earned multiple Design & Development Excellence Awards.
A five-time Australian representative at the Triathlon World Championships, Bloomfield also brings a longstanding connection to sport to his new role as Master Franchisee for Pickleball Kingdom Australia and New Zealand.

Pickleball Kingdom operates an indoor club model built around year-round play, offering climate-controlled courts, professional coaching, open play, leagues, tournaments, court reservations and community events. Its revenue model also includes memberships, lessons, group events, equipment and apparel, food and beverage, and other club-based activities.
The brand offers franchise opportunities across single-unit, multi-unit and multi-region development, with its international strategy increasingly centred on master franchise partnerships that give local operators responsibility for market development and network growth.
Founded by Ace Rodrigues, Pickleball Kingdom opened its first club in Chandler, Arizona, in 2022 and began franchising in 2023. The company has since pursued rapid U.S. and international expansion, reporting more than 400 U.S. locations awarded by late 2025.
Australia and New Zealand add another international territory to the brand’s growing franchise network. Pickleball Kingdom previously announced its expansion into India and has also been developing its presence in Europe.
The ANZ agreement gives Bloomfield responsibility for building the brand’s presence across two markets where pickleball is gaining visibility, while Pickleball Kingdom continues to use franchise partnerships to scale its indoor club concept internationally.
