Quick-service chicken chain Zaxbys is entering a new phase of expansion with its “Grow to Win” development strategy, aimed at accelerating franchise growth and improving unit performance nationwide.
The brand, which now operates over 1,000 locations, has focused on operational improvements, including drive-thru technology that reduces service times by up to 20%, and enhanced guest experiences to support scalable expansion.
Zaxbys is also rolling out flexible restaurant formats, including the “Modern Farmhouse” design, which can adapt to both traditional and non-traditional locations. This approach allows franchisees to open units in urban centres, retail corridors, and emerging markets while maintaining consistent brand standards.
The company is expanding its national marketing efforts, leveraging celebrity campaigns featuring figures like Omar Epps and 2 Chainz to increase brand awareness beyond its Southeastern base. Recent openings in Plainfield, Illinois, and a seven-unit franchise agreement in St. Louis, Missouri, highlight the brand’s push into new markets.
Zaxbys plans to continue refining its operations, development processes, and market entry strategies as it looks to grow its franchise footprint further in 2026.
