GoTo Foods Names New CFO and Growth Chief to Drive Franchise Momentum

Date:

GoTo Foods has appointed Brett Ubl as Chief Financial Officer and Francisco Bram as Chief Growth Officer as the restaurant company accelerates its global franchise expansion. The executive moves follow the company’s hiring of Omer Gajial as CEO three months ago and are part of a broader strategy to enhance operational efficiency and digital capabilities.

Ubl, who joins from Roark Capital, brings more than nine years of experience in financial strategy for franchised restaurant concepts including Subway, Dunkin’ and Baskin‑Robbins. In his new role, he will oversee finance, accounting, and corporate strategy, focusing on unit-level economics and scalable growth.

Bram, with a background in brand strategy, digital marketing, and business development from Chewy, Albertsons, and Uber Eats, will lead demand generation, loyalty programs, customer personalization, and social media initiatives to drive repeat visits and maximize customer lifetime value.

The company also expanded responsibilities for senior executives:

  • Mike Freeman, EVP of brands, now oversees culinary and strategic operations across Auntie Anne’s, Jamba, McAlister’s Deli, Moe’s Southwest Grill, and Schlotzsky’s Deli.
  • Urvi Patel, SVP of brands and Cinnabon’s chief brand officer, continues to lead Cinnabon and Carvel with added focus on co-brand growth strategy.
  • Chris McNutt, chief supply chain officer, will continue to manage supply chain operations and support franchise execution.

GoTo Foods, which operates over 7,300 locations across the U.S. and 71 international markets, plans to add more than 1,400 new franchised units globally in the coming years. The company is also advancing loyalty programs and leveraging AI technology to enhance both customer and franchisee experiences.

“These executive leadership appointments mark a pivotal step forward as GoTo Foods enters the next chapter of growth and transformation,” said CEO Omer Gajial. “With clear strategic priorities, we are positioned to drive demand, deliver operational ease, and provide sustained value for both franchisees and customers throughout 2026 and beyond.”

GoTo Foods owns a portfolio of iconic brands, including Auntie Anne’s, Cinnabon, Carvel, Jamba, McAlister’s Deli, Moe’s Southwest Grill, and Schlotzsky’s Deli, and continues to expand its multi-channel network globally.
