Beauty services brand Blushington has celebrated the grand opening of Blushington Boca Raton, marking the launch of the company’s first franchised location and a significant step in its national expansion strategy.
The studio, located in Boca Raton, Florida, is owned and operated by franchise partner Dr. Karen Diaz Meaike, a longtime customer of the brand who has now brought the concept to South Florida. The opening represents the start of Blushington’s broader push to grow through franchising across the United States.
Founded in 2011 by sisters Stephi Cohen and Nicki Maron, Blushington was created to offer professional beauty services in a single destination, including makeup applications, blowouts and skincare treatments. The brand has built its reputation on providing consistent, luxury-style beauty services delivered by trained artists.
The Boca Raton studio offers the brand’s signature services designed for events, special occasions and everyday appointments, as the company seeks to expand its beauty services model into new markets through franchise partnerships.
Speaking about the launch, franchise owner Dr. Karen Diaz Meaike highlighted the brand’s community-focused approach. “I just don’t want us to just be another business in the community. The community is our business,” she said.
Diaz Meaike also emphasized her long association with the brand, noting that she had been a customer for years before becoming a franchise partner. “I’ve been going to Blushington for years and the incredible attention to detail and convenience they offer guests is unparalleled,” she said.
The opening of the Boca Raton location signals the beginning of Blushington’s franchise expansion. The company has indicated plans to grow its footprint in multiple U.S. markets as it looks to build a network of operators delivering consistent beauty services under the brand.
