The Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry has reinforced its international business and franchising ambitions through its participation in the China Franchise Expo and the annual meeting of the World Franchise Council in Beijing, China. The move forms part of the Chamber’s broader strategy to enhance Ajman’s visibility among global franchise investors, operators, and business leaders while promoting the emirate as an attractive destination for international expansion.
Ajman Chamber was represented by Maher Tarish Al Alili, who also serves as Vice President of the Emirates Association for Franchise Development. According to the Chamber, the participation aimed to showcase investment opportunities in Ajman and strengthen ties with leading franchise organizations and industry stakeholders from around the world.
The China Franchise Expo and World Franchise Council Annual Meeting brought together representatives from 47 countries, along with government officials, investors, franchise developers, consultants, major international companies, and providers of specialized franchise solutions and services. The gathering is considered one of the most significant global platforms for discussing franchise development, international expansion, and emerging industry trends.
During the event, Ajman Chamber held a series of meetings and networking sessions with international franchise leaders to explore opportunities for collaboration and knowledge exchange. The Chamber highlighted Ajman’s business-friendly environment, strategic location within the UAE, and its growing appeal as a hub for entrepreneurship, retail, and franchise investments.
In a statement issued by the Chamber, Al Alili said the participation reflects Ajman’s commitment to expanding its global economic partnerships and attracting high-quality franchise brands to the emirate. He noted that engagement with international franchise stakeholders supports the Chamber’s efforts to foster innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainable economic growth.
