ActionCOACH UK Doubles Down on Success with Triple Global Win

Date:

ActionCOACH UK has extended its remarkable run of global recognition, taking three major honours at ActionCOACH’s 2026 global conference in Goa, India, while independently measured franchisee satisfaction climbed to 84%.

The latest results give the UK operation another significant milestone: it has now secured a top global award for 18 consecutive years, continuing a streak that dates back to 2009. The achievement comes alongside ActionCOACH UK’s 14th consecutive 5-Star Franchisee Satisfaction rating from independent research firm WorkBuzz.

The WorkBuzz recognition places ActionCOACH UK among an elite group of franchise brands that have achieved the 5-Star rating every year since the benchmark began. WorkBuzz’s research draws on franchisee feedback from more than 300 franchise brands.

At the ActionCOACH global conference, held at The St. Regis Goa Resort at the end of July, the UK team collected three awards. Ian Christelow and Julie Wagstaff were named Global Company Firm of the Year, Gary and Steve Mullins won Global Firm of the Year, while Anu Khanna was recognised as Global Premium Practice of the Year.

For ActionCOACH UK, the latest haul builds on a long record of success at the global conference. The UK team has previously been recognised as Team of the Year for 16 consecutive years, with the 2024 conference in Dubrovnik extending that run.

Julie Wagstaff, Managing Director of ActionCOACH UK, said the consistency was the result of the wider network rather than the efforts of any single individual. “18 years at the top isn’t down to one person ,it’s our franchise partners and support teams putting in the work, year after year,” she said. “Consistency on this scale never comes from complacency; it comes from always learning and always striving to improve our model.”

The global awards have been matched by a strong rise in franchisee sentiment in the UK. ActionCOACH UK’s overall franchise satisfaction score in the latest WorkBuzz survey reached 84%, up from 78% in 2025.

The survey also showed particularly high levels of confidence in the support infrastructure behind the franchise network. Some 98% of franchise partners said ActionCOACH’s field support helps their operations, while 96% valued the strength of peer support across the network.

A further 94% expressed confidence in ActionCOACH’s range of products and services, while 93% said they were confident in the franchise system. Sharon Weston, Head of Franchising at WorkBuzz, said maintaining a 5-Star rating over such a long period was significant given the level of franchisee feedback gathered through the benchmark. “To maintain this level is outstanding and a real signal to prospective franchise partners of what the network is like,” she said.

The 14-year satisfaction streak has become one of ActionCOACH UK’s defining franchise credentials. WorkBuzz’s Sharon Weston recently confirmed the 2026 achievement, highlighting the strength of the network and its ongoing focus on franchisee support.

The latest results also reinforce a theme that has featured in ActionCOACH UK’s previous award successes: retention, peer support and the relationship between the UK support operation and its franchise partners.

In 2024, Wagstaff attributed the UK team’s continued global success partly to franchise partner retention, while Ian Christelow said the UK operation had been using its own firm to test strategies, tactics and services before rolling successful innovations across the wider network.

For ActionCOACH UK, the combination of global awards and franchisee feedback provides two different measures of the same network: external recognition of its performance and direct feedback from the franchise partners operating within it.

“We’re really proud to sustain this level of success for well over a decade,” Wagstaff said. “Winning on the global stage and hearing such positive words from our own franchise partners are two versions of the same story, people back this network because it delivers.”

“It’s recognition our model works and, most importantly, it’s what lets us have such a meaningful impact on thousands of business owners up and down the country.”
