UK home care provider Guardian Angel Carers is expanding its franchise network, making a limited number of additional territories available to franchisees as it grows its local care footprint across England.
Founded in 2012 by Christina Handasyde Dick MBE, OLY, Guardian Angel Carers has grown from a single branch into a network of 18 locally owned territories, supported by its National Office in Chichester. The company is now inviting prospective franchisees to establish and operate home care businesses in available UK territories.
The expansion comes as the company continues to develop its franchise model around locally owned care businesses backed by central operational expertise. Franchisees operate their own businesses while receiving support across recruitment, CQC compliance, finance and marketing.
“Everything we do is grounded in offering great care, and that starts by working with people who share our passion for making a difference to families and people in their communities,” said Vikki Craig-Vickers, Operations Director at Guardian Angel Carers. “We developed our franchise model to give ambitious, forward-thinking franchisees a way to build their own businesses with a genuine focus on delivering the best possible care, while partnering with our National Office colleagues to help them succeed,” she added.
The franchise package includes training and development, recruitment guidance, CQC registration and compliance support, finance and HR assistance, marketing support and access to a peer network of franchise owners. Guardian Angel Carers also provides ongoing operational support as franchisees develop their businesses.
The company’s franchise territories are designed around local markets, with the business using data and its operational experience to identify suitable locations. Its current network includes territories such as Banstead, Cardiff, Chichester and Bognor, Eastleigh, Fareham and Gosport, Farnham, Guildford, Lincoln & Newark, Reading, Spelthorne, Wimbledon & Kingston, Windsor & Maidenhead, Worthing and York.
Guardian Angel Carers provides visiting care, waking nights, sleep-ins and live-in care, covering services ranging from companionship to more complex care needs. Its franchise model is intended to allow local owners to build relationships within their communities while drawing on the infrastructure and expertise of the wider organisation.
