Private equity firm backs standalone growth strategy for one of the UK’s largest clinician-led aesthetics franchise networks, with plans to expand clinics, technology, and talent.
Chariot Capital Group has completed the acquisition of Laser Clinics UK, carving the business out from the wider Laser Clinics Group and positioning it as an independent platform for future growth in the rapidly expanding aesthetics and wellness sector. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The deal marks a significant development in the UK franchise and aesthetics market, with Laser Clinics UK operating more than 40 clinics across the country through a clinician-led franchise-partnership model. The company offers laser hair removal, cosmetic injectables, and a broad range of skin treatments, and has built a strong reputation for clinical standards, customer outcomes, and accessibility.
Laser Clinics UK was developed as part of Laser Clinics Group, the global aesthetics platform backed by private equity giant KKR. The wider group pioneered a clinician-led franchise model across Australia, New Zealand, and several international markets, helping establish one of the world’s largest networks of aesthetics clinics. Under the new ownership structure, the UK business will operate independently while retaining its existing operating model and franchise network.
Chariot Capital Group, which specializes in corporate carve-outs, divestitures, and complex transactions, said the acquisition aligns with its strategy of backing businesses that can unlock greater value through operational independence and focused investment. The firm plans to support Laser Clinics UK through continued investment in its clinic footprint, technology platform, and talent base.
“We are thrilled to welcome Laser Clinics UK to the Chariot portfolio,” said Adam Pugatch, Partner at Chariot Capital Group. “Laser Clinics UK has built a highly respected brand and market position, and we look forward to partnering with the company’s management, franchise partners, and clinicians to support its continued growth.”
Industry observers view the acquisition as another sign of growing investor interest in the medical aesthetics sector, which continues to benefit from rising demand for non-surgical cosmetic procedures and recurring consumer spending on skin and wellness treatments. The deal also reflects a broader trend of private equity firms pursuing carve-out opportunities where standalone ownership can accelerate decision-making, operational improvements, and market-specific expansion strategies.
Founded in the UK in 2017, Laser Clinics UK has expanded its presence through a franchise-led model that combines centralized brand support with local ownership. The network spans major cities and shopping destinations across the country, giving it one of the largest footprints in the UK’s laser and skin-treatment market.
As an independent business under Chariot Capital Group, Laser Clinics UK is expected to focus on strengthening its market position, enhancing customer experience, investing in digital capabilities, and expanding its clinic network as competition intensifies across the UK’s fast-growing aesthetics industry.
