United Franchise Group (UFG) reported strong franchise expansion in the first half of 2026, signing 148 individual franchise agreements and opening 105 new locations across its global network.
The franchisor also signed seven development agreements representing 19 future locations and secured 10 new international master franchise agreements, extending five UFG brands into markets across North America, South America, Europe and Asia.
The international agreements cover Exit Factor, Graze Craze, Signarama, The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill and Transworld Business Advisors.
Exit Factor signed master franchise agreements for the Czech Republic, Ireland and Japan, while Graze Craze expanded into England and Guyana. Signarama added Germany, and The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill secured rights covering the Caribbean, including Antigua, the Bahamas, Barbados, the Dominican Republic, Guyana, Jamaica, Suriname, and Trinidad and Tobago.
Transworld Business Advisors expanded its international network through agreements covering Canada, including New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island, Portugal and Spain.
“This is a result of the high priority we place on developing our teams,” said Michael White, Chief Development Officer and Director of Global Franchising at UFG. “We don’t just sell franchises and sit back while owners ‘figure it out’ on their own. We work hard to mentor our entrepreneurs so they can be as successful as possible, and this is the result. We look forward to seeing what the next six months bring.”
UFG said franchisee training and support remain central to its growth strategy. Its support infrastructure includes Discovery Days for prospective franchisees, a dedicated training facility, ongoing business education, networking opportunities and conferences designed to connect franchise owners with resources and expertise across its network.
Led by Chairman and CEO Ray Titus, UFG has more than 1,800 franchises across more than 60 countries and four decades of franchising experience. Its portfolio spans business services, signage, real estate, consulting and foodservice, with brands including Signarama, Fully Promoted, Black Optix Tint, Transworld Business Advisors, Exit Factor, The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill and Graze Craze.
The first-half performance underscores UFG’s continued emphasis on international master franchising alongside domestic franchise development, giving local operators opportunities to develop established concepts in new territories.
