U.S. based med spa franchise VIO Med Spa has accelerated its nationwide expansion after signing 10 new franchise agreements in 2026, adding 15 new locations to its development pipeline across key American markets. The move comes amid rising consumer demand for physician-guided aesthetic and wellness treatments across the United States.
Founded in 2017 and headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, VIO Med Spa operates 64 locations across 20 states, with more than 175 territories either operational, sold, or under development. The company specializes in non-invasive aesthetic and wellness treatments including injectables, skin rejuvenation, laser therapies, facials, and wellness services delivered under licensed medical oversight.
According to the company, the latest franchise momentum spans several major regions including California, Florida, the Midwest, and the Northeast. New franchise agreements include six locations planned for the Chicagoland area by multi-unit operators Saj and Sunny Rizvi, while additional franchise partners will introduce the brand into markets such as Elk Grove, California; Wayne, New Jersey; Fort Wayne, Indiana; and Sarasota, Florida.
“We’re focused on filling gaps in existing markets that allow us to build meaningful regional density, while also entering new markets in a thoughtful, disciplined way,” said Ryan Rao, Chief Development Officer at VIO Med Spa. He added that the company is partnering with operators capable of scaling businesses while maintaining a “patient-first mindset,” which he described as critical to long-term growth.
The expansion reflects the growing strength of the medical aesthetics and wellness industry in the U.S., where consumers are increasingly opting for clinically supervised, non-invasive cosmetic procedures and longevity-focused wellness solutions. Industry reports cited by Skin Inc. estimate the U.S. spa market could grow from approximately $22.16 billion in 2025 to nearly $62.92 billion by 2035.
VIO Med Spa’s franchise strategy is built around what it describes as “physician-guided” operations, combining clinical oversight with membership-led recurring revenue models aimed at improving customer retention and unit economics. Franchisees receive support across training, marketing, operations, compliance, and site development.
The company has also been strengthening its leadership and franchise infrastructure over the past year. Recent executive additions include finance, field operations, marketing, and franchise development leaders with experience across hospitality, retail, wellness, and fitness sectors.
Backed by private investment firm Freeman Spogli, the brand continues to seek multi-unit operators and franchise partners from sectors including hospitality, fitness, healthcare-adjacent services, and QSR.
