Five Iron Golf Enters UK Via Franchise Model with Debut London Venue

Date:

Five Iron Golf, one of the world’s fastest-growing indoor golf entertainment brands, has entered the UK market with the opening of its first British venue at Broadgate in London, marking another step in its international franchise-led expansion. The new site is the company’s first franchised flagship in the UK, reinforcing its strategy of growing through local franchise partners while bringing its technology-driven golf experience to major global cities.

The new venue is located at 1 Finsbury Avenue, Broadgate, close to Liverpool Street Station in the heart of London’s financial district. Spanning approximately 6,900 square feet, the facility features eight Trackman-powered golf simulators, professional coaching bays, practice facilities, leagues, tournaments, corporate event spaces, a full-service bar and restaurant, and entertainment experiences designed for golfers and non-golfers alike. The location is currently in a soft-opening phase, with a full public launch expected in September 2026.

The launch comes shortly after The Open Championship at Royal Birkdale and ahead of the PIF London Championship, reflecting the growing popularity of golf in the UK and Five Iron Golf’s ambition to make the sport more accessible through year-round indoor venues.

Announcing the opening, Eric Parker, CEO of Five Iron Golf UK, said: “We’re thrilled to bring Five Iron Golf to London. Our mission has always been to make golf more accessible, social and enjoyable, and Broadgate is the perfect location to introduce our concept to the UK.”

The company added that every international venue is designed to reflect its local market while preserving the core Five Iron experience centred on technology, hospitality and community.

Founded in New York City in 2017 by Jared Solomon, Mike Doyle, Sebastian Park and Daniel Glazer, Five Iron Golf has transformed traditional golf practice into a hospitality-led entertainment concept. The brand combines simulator golf, coaching, food and beverage, leagues, memberships and corporate events under one roof, helping attract experienced golfers as well as newcomers.

Today, Five Iron Golf operates across 20 U.S. states and seven countries, with recent international openings including Valencia (Spain), Dubai, India, Singapore and now the United Kingdom, making it one of the fastest-growing names in indoor golf entertainment.

Five Iron Golf is actively expanding through franchising, particularly in international markets. Rather than relying solely on company-owned clubs, the brand partners with regional franchise operators to establish premium indoor golf entertainment venues in high-density urban locations.

Its franchise model generates revenue from multiple streams, including: Simulator rentals, Membership subscriptions, Golf lessons and coaching, Food and beverage sales, Corporate events, Private parties and Competitive leagues and tournaments.

The concept is designed to serve both serious golfers seeking year-round practice and consumers looking for a social entertainment destination, positioning Five Iron Golf within the rapidly expanding “competitive socialising” sector.

With London now operational, Five Iron Golf is expected to use the UK as a strategic base for further expansion across Britain and Europe as demand for technology-enabled golf experiences continues to rise.
