Hangry Joe’s Adds Five Franchise Stores in U.S. Expansion Push

Date:

Hangry Joe’s Hot Chicken & Wings is expanding its U.S. franchise footprint with five new locations scheduled to open within 30 days in Palmhurst, Texas; Rock Hill, South Carolina; Durham and Raleigh, North Carolina; and Canton, Michigan.

The openings extend the Nashville-style hot chicken brand’s presence across four states as it continues its franchise expansion in the United States.

As part of the launches, the new restaurants are offering first-time users of the Hangry Joe’s mobile app a buy-one-get-one-free entrée valued at up to $12.99. The promotion is designed to encourage trial as the brand enters each market and applies to a range of menu items.

Customers can use the offer on Hangry Joe’s Chicken Sando, tenders, nuggets, wraps, chicken and waffles, salads, loaded fries and loaded mac and cheese. The menu is built around Nashville-style chicken served across different heat levels, ranging from Plain to the brand’s highest level, “Angry Hot.”

The five restaurants are being promoted through dedicated local websites: hangryjoespalmhurst.com for Palmhurst, rockhill.hangryjoes.com for Rock Hill, hangryjoesdurham.com for Durham, hangryjoesraleigh.com for Raleigh and hangryjoescanton.com for Canton.

“We don’t have the brand recognition nationally yet, so Hangry Joe’s is offering a buy-one-get-one-free entrée up to $12.99 for new app users, and all they need to do is download the app,” said Micah J. Gaudio of GO Agency AI, which is promoting the five new stores. “This way everyone can try our Chicken Sando, tenders, nuggets, wrap, chicken and waffles, salad, loaded fries or loaded mac and cheese for free, and we are confident they will come back.”

The launch strategy places the mobile app at the centre of customer acquisition, with new users able to access the introductory promotion while also using the platform for ordering ahead and future offers.

Gaudio also highlighted the locations being pursued by the brand as it expands. “I believe the operations team is committed to securing the best possible sites for the brand,” he said. “The food stands out, and it belongs in destination storefronts that match that quality rather than in overlooked spaces.”

Each of the five new restaurants will offer dine-in, takeout and delivery. Individual opening dates will be announced by the respective franchise locations.

The expansion comes as Hangry Joe’s continues to build its franchise network around its Nashville-style hot chicken offering. Its menu spans sandwiches, tenders, nuggets, wraps, chicken and waffles, salads and loaded sides, with customers able to choose from multiple levels of heat.

The new locations in Palmhurst, Rock Hill, Durham, Raleigh and Canton represent another step in the brand’s efforts to establish a wider U.S. franchise presence while using localized openings and digital customer acquisition to build awareness in new markets.
