US-based boutique fitness brand JETSET Pilates is set to enter the UK market with the opening of its first London studio in Shoreditch this July, marking another milestone in the company’s rapid international expansion.
Located at 3 Nicholls Clarke Yard in East London, the Shoreditch flagship is scheduled to open in mid-July and will become the first in a planned network of London studios. Additional sites across the capital are expected to be announced in the months following launch as the company looks to capitalize on growing demand for reformer Pilates in the UK.
JETSET Pilates said the London market has become a key priority as boutique reformer studios across central and East London continue to face strong demand and long waitlists. The company enters Britain with more than 385 studios open or in development globally, spanning markets including the US and Australia.
Founded in Miami in 2010, JETSET accelerated its growth after launching its franchise model in 2022. The brand has since emerged as one of the fastest-growing boutique fitness concepts internationally, driven by its signature 50-minute reformer Pilates classes focused on spring-based resistance training, controlled movement and endurance-building programming.
The Shoreditch studio will offer the company’s full class lineup, including the JETSETter Reformer class, JETSET Fundamentals for beginners, and targeted Upper + Core and Lower + Core sessions. According to the company, the structured progression model is designed to improve strength, control and muscular endurance over time.
Bert Albertse, CEO of JETSET Pilates, said the company is responding to changing consumer expectations around fitness and wellness. “The pace of JETSET’s growth reflects a clear shift in what clients are looking for. There is an increasing demand for reformer classes that deliver consistent, measurable results,” Albertse said.
He added: “The UK has been a priority market for some time, and London is a natural starting point. Shoreditch is the first of several sites we have lined up across the capital, and we will continue to expand at pace.”
Tamara Galinsky, Founder of JETSET Pilates, said the London launch carries personal significance for the brand’s journey. “London is where I first discovered modern Pilates and saw the opportunity to reimagine the experience. Following its London debut, JETSET Pilates plans to expand into additional UK cities beginning in 2027 as part of its wider international growth strategy.
