Kitchen Makeovers has strengthened its franchise support infrastructure with the creation of a dedicated three-person Business Development Team, as the home improvement franchise continues to expand its network beyond 40 franchisees.
The new team includes Business Development Managers Nick Salter and Tareq Heera, who join Operations Manager Jonathan Head, who has been with Kitchen Makeovers for two years. The expanded team will provide hands-on support to franchisees across the network, from onboarding and early-stage development through to ongoing territory growth.
The investment is designed to ensure Kitchen Makeovers’ support infrastructure keeps pace with its growing franchise network, with the team providing practical and commercially focused guidance to franchisees as they establish and develop their businesses.
“Growing the network is only one part of building a strong franchise business – we also have to make sure the support behind it grows at the right pace,” said Will Frankling, Co-founder of Kitchen Makeovers.
“We’ve invested in experienced people who understand the kitchen sector and can work closely with franchisees on the realities of developing their businesses. As the network continues to expand, having more dedicated resource in the field means we can provide increasingly focused support and help franchisees make the most of the opportunities within their territories.”
Kitchen Makeovers specialises in cost-effective kitchen renovations, transforming existing kitchens by replacing elements such as doors and worktops rather than requiring customers to undertake a complete kitchen refit.
Salter and Heera bring previous experience from the kitchen sector, including backgrounds in sales development and financial management. Their responsibilities cover the full franchise journey, from supporting new franchisees during onboarding to working directly with established franchise owners in their territories.
“It was fantastic to meet so many franchisees at the recent annual conference and see first-hand the ambition and engagement across the network,” said Nick Salter. “A big part of our role now is spending meaningful time with franchisees. That gives us a much clearer understanding of each individual business – what’s working well, where there is untapped potential and where focused support could help improve performance.”
The expanded team is also making greater use of Kitchen Makeovers’ bespoke CRM and reporting systems to analyse performance across individual franchise businesses. In addition, the business is using an AI-powered tool designed to identify quick actions that could help generate additional income or improve profit margins.
By combining data-driven insights with regular face-to-face contact, the Business Development Team aims to provide more targeted guidance, helping franchisees identify priorities and translate performance data into practical business actions.
The latest investment builds on Kitchen Makeovers’ broader development of its franchise support model as the network has grown. This has included enhanced initial training, regular business development activity and increased use of its bespoke CRM system to help franchisees monitor and better understand their businesses.
“The aim isn’t simply to give franchisees more support, it’s to make that support increasingly useful and relevant to their individual business goals,” Frankling added. “Having the right people, systems and insight in place gives us a stronger platform to support the network as we continue to grow.”
