Mazda UK has strengthened its retail presence on England’s South Coast with the opening of a new dealership in Worthing, West Sussex, further expanding the automaker’s UK network as it gears up for a series of major vehicle launches in 2026. The new site, operated by automotive retail group Yeomans, opened in June and marks the company’s second Mazda franchise following the launch of its Bexhill dealership in 2025.
The opening of Yeomans Mazda Worthing represents another step in Mazda UK’s ongoing network development strategy, aimed at strengthening representation in key territories while supporting growth across both retail and fleet channels. Worthing had been identified by Mazda as one of its largest open retail points, offering significant potential for customer acquisition and market expansion.
Jeremy Thomson, Managing Director of Mazda Motors UK, welcomed the addition to the network, saying: “I am delighted to welcome the new Worthing site to the Mazda network at such an exciting time for the brand, with three major new vehicle launches planned over the next six months.”
Highlighting the strategic importance of the location and the partnership, Thomson added: “Worthing represents a key territory for Mazda and was one of our largest open points, presenting a very strong business opportunity for growth.” He also cited Yeomans’ strong track record with multiple automotive brands and expressed confidence in the retailer’s ability to drive success across both the Worthing and Bexhill operations.
Founded more than 40 years ago, Yeomans operates a portfolio of franchised dealerships across southern England. The addition of the Worthing site further deepens its relationship with Mazda as the Japanese manufacturer enters a period of significant product renewal and electrification.
The new showroom will display Mazda’s latest vehicle range, including the recently introduced all-new Mazda CX-5 and Mazda6e, with the all-new CX-6e expected to follow. The lineup reflects Mazda’s multi-solution powertrain strategy, encompassing conventional internal combustion engines, hybrid models and fully electric vehicles.
Beyond new vehicle sales, the dealership will offer up to 40 Mazda Approved Used vehicles. Vehicles sold through the programme include a 12-month unlimited-mileage warranty, MOT protection, and comprehensive multi-point inspections designed to meet Mazda’s quality standards.
To celebrate the launch, the dealership is also showcasing a 1973 Mazda RX-3 from Mazda UK’s Heritage Fleet, providing customers with a glimpse into the brand’s design and engineering history.
Michael Adams, Sales Manager at Yeomans Mazda Worthing, said: “After a short sabbatical following 15 years with Mazda, I’m delighted to be returning to the brand at this fantastic new Yeomans site in Worthing.” He added that the dealership’s location and customer-first culture position it well to serve a broad catchment area and support growing demand for Mazda vehicles.
The dealership opening comes as Mazda accelerates investment across its UK operations. In recent months, the company has expanded its specialist fleet dealer network and announced new retail appointments ahead of the arrival of the Mazda6e and other electrified models, underscoring its commitment to growing market presence and supporting future vehicle launches.
