Mr DIY Targets Further Growth After Hitting 1,000 Stores in Thailand

Date:

Asia’s largest home improvement retailer Mr DIY is accelerating its expansion in Thailand after surpassing 1,000 stores nationwide. The Malaysian-founded company first entered Thailand in 2016 and now operates across all 77 provinces. Globally, Mr DIY has a presence in 11 countries with over 5,000 stores.

Aggressive Expansion Plans
Mr DIY Thailand plans to open 210 additional stores this year, focusing on standalone outlets outside major malls to serve community-level demand. The company is also constructing a modern automated warehouse in Samut Prakan to support logistics and streamline distribution. This facility will underpin long-term growth, helping the retailer reach a target of 3,000 stores in Thailand by 2031.

The company aims to operate 1,500 stores in Thailand by 2027, continuing its rapid market penetration across urban and regional locations.

Strong Financial Performance
In the 2025 fiscal year, Mr DIY Thailand reported revenue of THB 20.1 billion, up 24.4 percent year-on-year, while profits surged 47.8 percent. The growth reflects the brand’s strategy of offering a broad, affordable product range, currently encompassing approximately 16,000 SKUs, supported by its expanding international network.
