Family-run dealer group T.I.M. UK Motors has joined the UK retail network of Suzuki GB, taking on the Suzuki franchise in Nottingham as the Japanese carmaker continues to strengthen its presence across the East Midlands. The appointment adds Suzuki to T.I.M. UK Motors’ existing portfolio, which already includes Subaru representation in Nottingham and Isuzu Trucks operations in nearby Ilkeston.
Operating from its Haydn Road site in central Nottingham, T.I.M. UK Motors will provide Suzuki vehicle sales alongside aftersales and servicing support for customers across Nottinghamshire and the wider East Midlands region. According to Suzuki, the move further expands customer access to its vehicle range and dealer services in a strategically important market.
Ian Bell, Dealer Principal at T.I.M. UK Motors, welcomed the partnership, saying the business was “so excited to join the Suzuki family” and bring the brand to motorists in Nottingham. He added that as a family-owned dealership, the company believes customers value “a personal touch and a friendly, approachable experience” rather than the more corporate approach often associated with larger dealer groups.
David Kateley, Director Automobile at Suzuki GB PLC, said the company was “delighted” to welcome T.I.M. UK Motors to the network. He noted that the retailer’s long-standing reputation for customer care made it a strong fit for Suzuki’s values and said the appointment would strengthen the manufacturer’s representation in the East Midlands while improving access to its range and aftersales services for customers in Nottinghamshire.
The latest addition comes as Suzuki continues to invest in its UK retail footprint through targeted dealer appointments in key regional markets. For T.I.M. UK Motors, the franchise represents an opportunity to broaden its offering with one of the UK’s established automotive brands while reinforcing its position as a multi-franchise, family-run dealership serving customers across the region.
