Domino’s Pizza China Hits 1,550 Stores as Expansion Surges Across 75 Cities

Date:

DPC Dash accelerates expansion with 235 net new stores in H1 2026, enters 15 new cities, and achieves 89% of its annual development target.

Domino’s Pizza China has crossed another major growth milestone, reaching 1,550 stores across 75 cities as of June 30, 2026, reinforcing its position as one of Domino’s fastest-growing international markets.

The expansion was announced by DPC Dash Ltd., Domino’s Pizza’s exclusive master franchisee for mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau, as part of its second-quarter 2026 business update. The company reported continued momentum under its “Go Deeper, Go Broader” expansion strategy, which focuses on increasing store density in existing markets while entering new cities.

During the first six months of 2026, DPC Dash added 235 net new stores and expanded into 15 new cities, bringing its footprint to 75 cities nationwide. Of the total network, 532 stores are located in Tier 1 cities, while 1,018 stores operate in non-Tier 1 cities, highlighting the growing contribution of lower-tier markets to the company’s expansion strategy.

The company also revealed that its net new stores, stores under construction and signed locations now represent approximately 89% of its full-year 2026 store opening target, compared with 65% at the end of the first quarter, putting it well ahead of schedule.  “DPC Dash continued the ‘Go Deeper, Go Broader’ store expansion strategy, deepening penetration in existing cities while broadening its footprint into new markets,” the company said in its investor update.

Alongside network expansion, the company reported improving sales trends during the second quarter. While same-store sales remained negative overall, May and June returned to slight positive growth following new sales initiatives and operational improvements, indicating a gradual recovery in consumer demand.

DPC Dash also highlighted continued growth in its digital ecosystem. Membership in its loyalty programme reached 41.9 million, up from 30.1 million a year earlier, reflecting increasing customer engagement and repeat business.

The company’s newly opened restaurants continue to perform strongly. Based on store count, mainland China has become the second-largest international market within Domino’s global system, and DPC Dash said its restaurants now occupy all of the top 70 positions in Domino’s worldwide first 30-day sales rankings, demonstrating the strength of its site selection, localized operating model and store execution.

DPC Dash has built its growth strategy around localised menus, digital ordering, delivery excellence and rapid market penetration. Earlier this year, the company reiterated plans to add approximately 350 net new stores during 2026, further expanding Domino’s presence across China’s underpenetrated pizza market.

Domino’s Pizza remains one of the world’s largest quick-service restaurant brands, operating more than 22,300 restaurants globally. Through DPC Dash, the brand continues to make China one of its highest-priority international growth markets, combining aggressive franchised expansion with technology-led operations, loyalty programmes and localized product innovation.
