Fitness franchise fit20 has expanded its presence in West London with the opening of a new studio in Kingston upon Thames, marking the third location for franchisee Attila Leb and a key milestone in the brand’s UK growth journey.
The newly launched fit20 Kingston upon Thames studio adds to Leb’s existing portfolio in Chiswick and Uxbridge, making him one of the first multi-unit operators within the UK network to scale to three locations.
The expansion comes as demand grows for fit20’s focused, time-efficient training model, which is built around a single 20-minute, one-on-one strength training session per week. The concept has carved out a niche among consumers seeking structured, low-impact fitness solutions that fit into busy schedules.
Speaking on the milestone, Leb said: “When I opened my first studio, I wasn’t sure how people would respond to the concept. But over the years, I’ve seen consistent results and strong member commitment, which gave me the confidence to expand.”
Leb’s background in hospitality, spanning over 15 years, has played a role in shaping his approach to operations. He emphasised that consistency, service quality and attention to detail are critical in building long-term member relationships, factors that have supported retention and repeat business across his studios.
The Kingston opening reflects a broader growth trend for fit20 in the UK, where the brand is steadily expanding its franchise footprint. Globally, fit20 operates more than 170 studios across 14 countries, serving a growing base of members.
Leb added that each new studio benefits from operational learnings gained over time, allowing for smoother execution and scalability. “Once you understand the model and see the results it delivers, expanding becomes a natural progression,” he said.
