As Gap Inc. pushes a broader reinvention across its portfolio, Old Navy has launched its latest designer collaboration with Christopher John Rogers, with Zac Posen leading efforts to elevate the brand’s fashion credibility through accessible, high-impact partnerships.
The 46-piece collection debuted on April 15 across stores and online, priced between $24.99 and $84.99, with inclusive sizing from XS to 4XL. The range spans dresses, denim, knits and accessories, translating Rogers’ signature use of bold colour, graphic stripes and sculptural silhouettes into everyday wardrobe staples.
The collaboration was first announced in early April 2026 as part of Old Navy’s ongoing designer series under Zac Posen’s creative leadership at Gap Inc., positioning it as a limited-edition drop aimed at blending high-fashion design with mass accessibility.
Speaking on the collaboration, Christopher John Rogers, American fashion designer, said: “Old Navy has always represented an optimistic vision of American style, open to everyone,” reinforcing the intent to bring expressive, high-fashion aesthetics to a broader audience.
Zac Posen, Executive Vice President and Creative Director at Gap Inc., positioned the collection as part of a wider creative reset for the brand. “This collection brings vibrancy, sophistication, and modern cool to the Old Navy customer,” he said, adding that it is “a celebration of American fashion accessible, easy and fun.”
The collaboration marks Old Navy’s second major designer partnership following its 2025 tie-up with Anna Sui, signalling a longer-term platform aimed at driving brand heat and cultural relevance. The strategy aligns with Gap Inc.’s broader efforts to reinvigorate its portfolio through design-led storytelling and limited-edition drops.
The launch was supported by a high-profile New York event attended by celebrities including Katie Holmes and Kimora Lee Simmons, who also features in the campaign. Early indicators point to strong consumer response, with several pieces gaining traction for their statement appeal at accessible price points.
The collaboration underscores a growing trend across global retail, where designer partnerships are being leveraged not only to elevate brand perception but also to drive traffic and conversion, an increasingly relevant playbook for franchise-led expansion.
