Kitchen Makeovers Retains UK’s Top Franchise Satisfaction Mark

Date:

Kitchen Makeovers has retained its coveted 5-Star Franchisee Satisfaction status from independent franchise research specialist WorkBuzz while also receiving the WorkBuzz Continuous Improvement Award, reinforcing its position as one of the UK’s highest-rated franchise systems and the only franchise in its sector to hold the five-star distinction.

The recognition follows WorkBuzz’s annual Franchise Satisfaction Benchmark Survey, which independently measures franchisee feedback across key areas including leadership, training and support, culture, operations and business confidence. The survey is completed anonymously, allowing franchisees to provide candid feedback on their experience within the network. According to WorkBuzz, fewer than 20% of participating franchise brands achieve 5-Star Franchisee Satisfaction status, making the accreditation one of the UK’s most respected benchmarks for franchise excellence.

The Continuous Improvement Award is presented to franchisors that have increased franchisee satisfaction scores across three consecutive benchmark surveys, highlighting Kitchen Makeovers’ sustained focus on strengthening franchisee support and engagement.

“This is a fantastic achievement for Kitchen Makeovers,” said Sharon Weston, Head of Franchising at WorkBuzz. “Retaining 5-star franchisee satisfaction is an outstanding result. To achieve that while also earning the Continuous Improvement Award shows a franchisor that is building trust, strengthening support and creating the right conditions for franchisees to feel confident about the future.”

The latest survey showed Kitchen Makeovers performing strongly across the areas that matter most to franchisees, recording favourable response scores of 90% for Leadership, reflecting confidence in the direction of the brand, 89% for Training & Support, recognising the guidance franchisees receive as they build their businesses, and 88% for Culture & Relationships, highlighting strong communication and collaboration across the network.

Founded in 2018, Kitchen Makeovers has built its franchise around offering homeowners a more affordable, sustainable and less disruptive alternative to a full kitchen renovation. Franchisees help customers refresh existing kitchens through replacement doors, worktops, appliances and finishes, enabling households to achieve a new look without the cost and waste associated with complete replacements.

The wider WorkBuzz report further reinforced the strength of the franchise system. Kitchen Makeovers achieved an overall 2026 Franchise Satisfaction Score of 94%, up 6% from 2025 and 8% from 2024, demonstrating consistent year-on-year improvement. The survey also highlighted strong confidence in the future of the network, with 91% of franchisees saying they intend to renew their franchise agreements and 95% expecting their profitability to improve over the next 12 months.

Commenting on the recognition, Will Frankling, Co-founder of Kitchen Makeovers, said: “This recognition means so much to us because it comes directly from our franchisees. Continuous improvement has always been central to how we grow Kitchen Makeovers, by listening, learning and making meaningful changes that help our network succeed. We’re proud of the scores but what matters most is what sits behind them: our franchisees feeling positive about our partnership.”

As demand continues to grow for cost-effective home improvement solutions, Kitchen Makeovers said it remains focused on expanding its UK franchise network sustainably while maintaining the support, operational standards and collaborative culture that have contributed to its latest WorkBuzz recognition.

Founded in 2018, the company operates in the home improvement sector, offering a franchise model centred on kitchen refurbishment through replacement doors, worktops, appliances and finishes as an alternative to full kitchen renovations.
