Pizza Hut Singapore’s Director of Marketing and Food Innovation, Jayss Rajoo, is set to step down from her role, marking a key leadership change for the brand during its ongoing repositioning and 45th anniversary campaign in the market.
According to a statement shared by Pizza Hut Singapore, Rajoo is still leading the company’s marketing function and remains involved in the anniversary campaign during the transition period.
“Pizza Hut Singapore is grateful for the leadership and commitment Jayss has brought in her time with us. She is currently still leading the marketing team and focused on our 45th anniversary campaign. We have began the search and will share more details in due time,” a company spokesperson said.
Rajoo joined Pizza Hut Singapore in 2020 as Head of Marketing and Food Innovation before being elevated to Director in 2022. During her tenure, she played a central role in several local brand initiatives, including campaigns focused on younger consumers, pop-culture collaborations and the company’s evolving dine-in and delivery positioning.
Before joining Pizza Hut Singapore, Rajoo held senior marketing roles at 4FINGERS and Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, alongside experience across hospitality and quick-service restaurant brands.
The exit comes as Pizza Hut Singapore accelerates its “Feed Good Times” strategy and brand refresh tied to its 45th anniversary celebrations. The company recently introduced an updated visual identity across stores, packaging, digital channels and menu boards as it looks to reposition the brand from an occasional indulgence to an everyday dining option.
The brand has also been adapting to changing consumer habits, including increased demand for solo dining and flexible meal occasions. In a recent industry interaction, Rajoo noted that consumers are increasingly eating “between work, commutes, workouts, and errands,” reflecting broader lifestyle changes in Singapore’s urban dining culture.
Globally, Yum! Brands-owned Pizza Hut operates nearly 20,000 restaurants worldwide across multiple markets.
