U.S. quick-service restaurant chain Krystal has promoted Amanda Hyde to Chief Operating Officer, expanding her responsibilities at the brand as it focuses on operational improvements and franchise growth.
Hyde previously served as Senior Vice President of Operations at parent company SPB Hospitality, where she played a key role in strengthening operational performance and supporting the strategy to revitalize and expand the Krystal brand.
In her new role, Hyde will work closely with Krystal’s operators and franchise partners to improve restaurant performance, support development initiatives and maintain operational standards across the system. She will also collaborate with internal teams including finance and human resources to ensure alignment between restaurant operations and the company’s broader support functions.
Hyde brings more than two decades of experience in the restaurant industry spanning operations, brand leadership and multi-unit management. Since joining SPB Hospitality, she has been involved in efforts to strengthen execution across the Krystal system and build high-performing teams.

Founded in 1932 and headquartered in Georgia, Krystal operates hundreds of restaurants across the Southeastern United States and Puerto Rico, offering its signature square burgers, breakfast items and other fast-food staples.
The leadership move comes as the brand continues efforts to strengthen operations and position the system for long-term growth across company-owned and franchised locations.
